Licensing Periods
The Louisiana parish of the licensee’s location determines the Commission District pursuant to LA-R.S.32:1253. The district determines the license period, which is defined by LA-R.S. 32:1254(B). The licenses of any licensee who are NOT located in Louisiana expire on December 31st of each calendar year. In accordance with LA-R.S. 32:1274, Vehicle Protection Product Warrantors located both in and out of Louisiana expire on December 31st of each calendar year. All license types, Sales Finance and GAP, pursuant to LA-R.S. 9:969 expire on December 31st of each calendar year.

Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Washington.
District 2:

East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Iberville, Ascension, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, St. Helena, Livingston, Assumption, and Point Coupee.
District 4:
07/01/2025 – 06/30/2027
Richland, Franklin, Union, Lincoln, Jackson, Winn, Caldwell, Ouachita, Morehouse, West Carroll, East Carroll, and Madison.
District 5:
